The Modified Puzzle
You are given 9 identical bags of balls. Each bag contains 9 balls. Each ball has same weight say 500 gms, except all the balls in one such bag that are lighter i.e. 490 gms. Your job is to find the bag that contains the light weighted balls. You have a two plate balance to weight. You have the weights available for weighing. 
How will you identify the bag that contains lighter balls if you can weight once only.

Puzzle

Your job is to find the bag that contains the light weighted balls. You have a two plate balance but no weights to weight. How will you identify the bag that contains lighter balls if you can weight two times only.

Solving of puzzles is interesting, as these contain that extra thing required to think beyond the traditional approach of solving the mathematics, science, logical and other reasoning problems. Let us start with a simple puzzle. Hope you will be able to answer it well. Please do solve it and share your answer in the comments section.

Puzzle
A carpenter has a cuboid shaped block of wood. Its size was 2 feet x 1 feet x 3 feet. He painted the block with his favorite blue color. Later, he cut the wooden block into pieces of size 1cm x 1cm x 1 cm cubes. Can you tell the number of total cubes? How many such cubes have blue color on one face? How many have blue color on two faces? and how many have three faces of blue color paint on them?

Hint: Each cube/cuboid has 6 faces. Blocks may contain color on 1/2/3 faces only.
NOTE: Do not forget to convert feet into cm to have the total small blocks.

Puzzle
In a guessing contest for contestants, four non-transparent boxes were shown. It was told that each of the boxes contain a different kind of fruit. Fruits were apples, bananas, oranges and pears. The participants have to guess what is contained in the boxes without looking into them. There were 123 participants in the contest. 43 of them were not able to guess what is contained even in a single box correctly. 39 of them could guess one box correctly. 31 guessed two boxes correctly and were not able to correctly guess the other two. 
Can you tell how many people could identify three boxes? Also tell how many could guess all the four boxes correctly? NOTE: two answers are required.
